The trailer for IT: Chapter two (2019) is out and it looks like it will be on par with the first half of the movie based on what is shown in the trailer. Fans from the TV version of the movie will remember what part of the story this takes place in, but with this new version and extra form of creepiness is very present. Check it out below: IT (2017) brought fans of Stephen King back to Derry and a new version of Pennywise that is just as creepy as Tim Curry's version. Bill Skarsgard returns to play the demonic clown in Chapter Two along with James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, and Bill Hader in the adult versions of "The Loser's Club." Poster 1922 (2017) The  +Netflix  original 1922 is yet another work based on one of Stephen King's stories. It is the tale of a man who is penning a letter pretty much confessing the murder of his wife in 1922. However, the story is not so much about the crime, but the cost of committing one and thinking he got away with it. Thomas Jane plays Wilfred James the man telling the viewer of his story years after committing the crime. Not all of King's work is about horror in the way fans view it, some of it is about very real things in the cycle of human emotion like in The Shawshank Redemption . James writes about the aftermath of covering up his wife's murder and the cost of living with the guilt of such a big secret. Granted, there are some creepy scenes in which his guilt of handling his wife's dead body has him hallucinate some things worthy of a horror film but, murder is horrific after all. 1922 is definitely worth a sit through if you are a Stephen K...

Movie Poster By now you have read a fair share of reviews but we'd be remiss not saying something about IT (2017). One thing that had us ramped to see the film was The Dark Tower  (2017) . While we didn't see any connections in the film it did not deter from this updated version of Stephen King's terrifying tale. Updated to the late 80's made this version more relatable to the story than what was originally written and the mini series from the 90's. The young actor's portrayal of the "Loser Club" certainly hit it out of the park and almost came off as a group of young adults. The film's 'R' rating is for language any Generation 'X' fan can relate to using when the adults weren't around. This version seemed to stay truer to the book than the mini-series did and there will definitely be a "Chapter Two" considering the box office earnings it did and (SPOILER ALERT) they tell you that at the end of the film...

The Dark Tower (2017)  got hated on by many critics and some fans. However, the eight-book series would much like any stories that make the move from one medium to another has to change some things for the sake of time and money. As much as a fandom can bring love for something as great as the works of Stephen King, the changes have to be considered. What the film does well for fans of King's works is drop the subtle little Easter egg references to other stories and hint for new audiences how all those stories are connected in the same universe. Examples like The Man in Black referring to Jake's psychic abilities as "Shine" (The Shining), also when using a way station one of the coordinates is to a room numbered 1408. If anyone remembers, 1408(2007) was a haunted room in a hotel where strange things happened. Makes you wonder if all those things were passing through. Theatrical Poster Warner Bros. New Line Cinema The film based on Stephen King's novel is being made into a feature film. Already the comparison is being made to the 1990 television version and whether or not Bill Skarsgard can live up to Tim Curry's performance of Pennywise The Clown from the story. Either way, there's no way folks will pass on IT (2017) considering the story can be credited for enforcing the fear of clowns in people. See the trailer below and let us know what you think.

     This is one of those films that when it's on TV, I always stop and watch it.  It stars Corey Haim as Marty a handicapped boy and his sister that encounter a were-wolf in their small town.  It is told from the perspective of the sister remembering the events that happened and how their uncle played by Gary Busey before his head injury .  It's another gem from the 80's written by Stephen King that doesn't involve some form of giant insect. Megan Follows plays Corey Haim's sister and her older version of herself narrates us viewers through the story. It's one of those stories where the focus is on the problem of the were wolf but also on fixing a family's broken relationship. It kept me interested as a kid and it still interests me now. The reason being the man that is the werewolf. He seems like he has some good in him during certain scenes but when gets found out he starts acting like a true antagonist.
