Photo: Clay Enos The new Lex Luthor was shown today via Entertainment Weekly  for the much anticipated Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice . Jesse Eisenberg, will be playing the part of the DC comics villain in the Zack Snyder film due out in March of 2016. Will he try to copy Gene Hackman's annoying portrayal of the billionaire villain? Or, will we see the Luthor known from the comics? Photo: AP What do you think?  Given the bulk of his roles, he may try to do the comedic version or he could surprise everyone the way Heath Ledger did when played The Joker in Dark Knight . Lets hope for a darker, more acceptable Lex Luthor for the fans of both the comics and the previous Batman films. Please comment on your preference below. Everyone is taking a break while we get through the holidays. Both Arrow and Constantine are on hiatus until they return next month and what better way to ensure your viewers return? On Arrow we find out Malcolm Merlin had more than just paternal motivations for taking and Thea and training her. He manages to drug her into a highly suggestive state and from the evidence he produced to Oliver, it looks like she killed Black Canary. In order to save his lying sister from the League of Shadows Oliver takes her place and confesses to the crime in order to save Thea.  The cost is a duel between him and the League's leader, Ra's Al Ghul.     I finally got around to seeing Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, and I left there thinking the following about it: The story needed work. The musical numbers were a little longer than I'm used to ( I don't like musicals) Most importantly...none of that matters because it was still amazing!!!     Before I continue, I have to let you know that I pretty much grew up reading The Amazing Spider-Man , Web of Spider-Man , and Spectacular Spider-Man .  I got into Spidey watching a Saturday morning cartoon entitled Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, which introduced me to the Marvel Universe.  It was through Spider-man I met the X-men, The Hulk, and The Punisher as well as some really epic stories that helped shaped my young mind and know the difference between right and wrong.  Watching Peter Parker struggle through college, with money, maintaining a relationship and marriage was a good introduction to what life would be like as an adult....
