Automata starring Antonio Banderas as an insurance adjuster for a giant corporation that makes robots brings an interesting skew in a commonly told story. Automata is combination of I, Robot meets District 9 in that it takes place in a fictional future earth with a class not being recognized for their work. Banderas doesn't let anyone down with his performances so his acting is great in this film. Also, it's nice when actors play roles different from what they are known for as his character, Jack is an expecting father looking for a better life. The film has some action sequences and gun play in it but Jack is more victim in this film and doesn't take part in it.
