Bellator MMA season 10 Opening rounds this Friday!

If the Winter Olympics were not your cup of tea for sports on TV that last couple of weeks don't worry.  Now that they are over the networks are flowing regularly again and we can look forward to some fresh content.  One of which begins this Friday, Bellator MMA 's opening round of this seasons tournaments and I mentioned before in a post about CM Punk , that I am lucky enough to be there. Got these tickets as a gift from my lady. I've been to many amateur events as a lot of my training partners have competed in them but this will be my first big live show.  I'll be putting up a follow up post as soon as I can, but if I wasn't going to be there I'd be watching it at home when it airs live on Spike TV.

The Tonight Show hasn't been on our watch list in a while...

But since Jimmy Fallon has taken over we may have to watch it again.  This is coming from someone who was a fan of Johnny Carson and Arsenio Hall (in the 90's) when staying up late for a few interviews and animals was considered funny.  Leno, never did it for me but the mini skits that Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon do may get me watching again, look at this video..it's awesome:

Just got into Arrow...the people that do Agents of SHIELD need to take note.

Whoever makes Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D needs to take notes!!!  I've been a Marvel fan boy most of my life and have always followed mainly Spider-Man , The Punisher , X-men and The Immortal Iron Fist . The only two DC comics character I followed were Batman and Martian Manhunter but one thing about DC even when they do their Infinite Crisis stories and New 52 stuff is they don't mess stuff up so much that I ever wanted to just stop reading.  A friend of mine kept telling me about Arrow so over the storm damaged Valentine's Day Weekend when I wasn't sweeping my lady off her feet I watched Arrow . I don't want to get into a rant about Marvel being bought up by Disney and how it has ruined the Spidey I grew up with or how Disney somehow poisons good stories when they feel the need to attach their names to things simply because they bought the rights to do so.  What I see as fact is that DC does a good job with their animated series and anythin...

The Worlds End (2013) so good I had to pick it up.

With streaming video so easily accessible I decided to cut down on clutter and stop buying movies.  It's definitely a guy thing to build your own video vault of your favorite movies so you don't have to worry about what to watch when there are people over.  Or, if like me you or someone else makes a reference to a great film you like to have it handy so they can see why it's so great if they don't get the reference. I haven't bought a movie in a long time, since 2009 if I had to think about it.  So, to see a film that makes you think it's so great you break that trend and not only get a copy, but get it on all formats of DVD, Blu-ray, and digital download is because it's pretty freaking awesome.  The Worlds End is not only an exciting, funny, film but among my friends and I it was a truly relate-able film.  It follows Gary King and his friends on one last trip down memory lane in their home town of Newton Haven, the trip consists of a pub ...

CM Punk to try out MMA? It's possible...

He would not be the first to make the transition to the sport.   Ron Waterman is my earliest memory of a pro wrestler making the move to the sport of competitive Martial Arts.   Kazushi Sakuraba actually still does both in Japan, Bobby Lashley, and the most obvious people will know is Brock Lesnar .  They are not unfamiliar to pain,  the crowded arenas and being in the spot light so hearing about anyone else from the Pro Wrestling world is probably legit.  There is always the possibility that it is part of some story line from the Pro Wrestling world but I wold never doubt they would at least try the sport out.  There has even been dudes that were luchadores and went as far as competing in MMA with their mask on like Dos Caras did in Pride FC's Bushido event. If you're a fan of both you would notice over at TNA on Spike TV "King "Mo Lawal and Quinton Rampage Jackson have made appearances on the wrestling shows and are both active ...
