WSOFNYC Face Offs

2016 was a pretty big year for MMA in New York. The ban on MMA was lifted, UFC 205 came to Madison Square Garden and broke records, and on the final days of 2016 WSOF had their most successful event since the promotions launch, also at Madison Square Garden.

The event hosted four title fights and all of them were entertaining, days before the event a press conference was held to promote it and below are the face-offs for WSOF 34/WSOF NYC. Check them out here:

The prelims aired on NBCSN and the main card was on NBC. The viewership peaked at over a million on New Years Eve, do you think we'll see more early evening or late afternoon MMA cards in 2017?

The Phantasm Series Shows Players Riding Out Their Passions I just recently watched all the Phantasm movies. I watched the entire franchise in two days after not seeing any of the films since I was a kid. I was covering it for this site, to gain experience and get my feet wet covering events since it was something I knew I wanted to do for my freelance work.
