That means, it's not intended for you to bring your kiddies to. Please don't complain when it comes out this weekend that it has somehow scarred your children. That is what the 'R' rating exists to tell you. The film is not made for your kids if you have to tell them to watch their mouths. Deadpool is known as "the Merc with a mouth" for a reason.
This happens in the video game industry all the time, some parent will unwillingly buy their kid the latest Grand Theft Auto because they are begging for it. The MPAA exists to inform those that want to avoid anything offensive, so please take heed of the rating. The film was made for fans of the character and we are all adults that know what to expect.
