Making A Murderer will make you angry

A few weeks ago Making A Murderer was released on  +Netflix US & Canada  and has taken up 10 hours of a lot of people's time. Generally, when a binge-watch occurs its over something enjoyable. But when the subject matter falls on true crime, it reminds us on how truth is scarier than fiction . This binge worthy show takes you into the life of Steven Avery, a man wrongly accused of rape in 1985 and served 18 years before DNA evidence proved him innocent. That's interesting but not the basis of the show. The show focuses on his 2005 arrest and conviction for the murder of Teresa Halbach. Halbach was a photographer that took photos for for a car sales publication and was last seen alive by Steven Avery at his auto salvage location. Once her search begins, things get weird from there. Hopefully not much is spoiled since the series was released on December 18,2015 so if you have not seen it yet, don't read on. This story is true and has elements that would make you ...

Luther, Season 4 Review

Luther is one of the better detective dramas in recent TV. When the first season aired, it grabbed a lot of fans instantly but Idris Elba is a busy guy and in later seasons it kind of affected the show. That was kind of present in the most recent, two episode season of Luther . Since it was only two episodes it seems like they tried to cram a lot of story lines into a small amount of time. If you're a fan from the beginning, you have to watch but you might find yourself lost in the shuffle. In this season, Luther has to investigate the murder of a friend, track down a serial killer, and fend off hit-men. It seemed like they needed more time but didn't have it. The main character of the show played by Elba, is someone fans are interested in the way they follow heroes from comic books. He's even got his own costume if you picture Luther in his overcoat he seems to own a few of. It's not that we don't want Elba to be too busy to play his most well known role...

Krampus (2015) Spoiler free review

Krampus graphic novel Not that long ago, we had told you about Michael Dougherty's book that was released to keep Trick r' Treat fans on ice for the sequel. When he had broke that news he mentioned he could not work on that film because he was working on Krampus , well now its out and this is our review. Dougherty must have a certain affection for holidays in general. Trick r' Treat showed viewers what happens to those that don't have the Halloween spirit and Krampus seems to extend that to Christmas. Nothing is spoiled by telling you how the film opens with people being horrible to each other during the holidays. No better time to point that out to people after the way many behave on Black Friday, just do a search on line for footage matching the opening of the film. The message the film has is that those people, will most likely get a visit from Krampus. Dougherty pulls the character right out of Austro-Bavarian   German-speaking   Alpine   folklore,...
