If you haven't heard, there's one more pay-per-view left in 2018 for the UFC. UFC 232 will be the final one of 2018 for the promotion and with the last minute location change, hopefully, no fights are lost. With that being said, check out the predictions from the latest, Coast-2-Coast Combat Hour where they made their picks before the holiday. Co-host Matt Hawkins will be at the event Saturday and Ed will be at the Professional Fighters League New Year's Eve championship Monday so this is a busy weekend for the team here. This is the last press conference before the last pay-per-view for the UFC this year. UFC 232 may not have been buzzing before the holidays but with the location change from Las Vegas to Los Angeles to keep the main event, this final press conference could be interesting.

The trailer for Hellboy (2019) came out this week as promised and it seems to have kept the same tone as the previous films minus Abraham Sapien, but this is only the first trailer. The closer April comes the more might be revealed but since Deadpool (2015) showed an 'R' rated film based on a comic book will draw in fans, this could be a good move for the franchise.

Does UFC 232 seem underpromoted to you? It does to us and it was something we discussed on this week's Coast-2-Coast Combat Hour    because the event is ten-days away and it seems like something fight fans should be talking about, but that isn't really happening. Jon Jones vs. Alexander Gustafsson 2 is a great fight considering it one that Jones has said it was one of his toughest matches. The co-main event included the long anticipated match between Cris "Cyborg" Justino and Amanda Nunes, a champ versus champ bout that should absolutely make the winner one of the greatest female fighters to ever compete in the sport. Maybe we're too far away from it to start buzzing? Or, maybe December has had so many combat sports event we could be all fought out? That weekend will be the last one of 2018 and there are two, New Year's Eve combat sports events going on right after UFC 232. The Hellboy movie franchise should have a trailer coming out soon and has already announced the release date for this Spring. David Harbour of Stranger Things will be playing the title character and a poster and a nifty GIF for social media was put out today to start generating some buzz for the 'R' rated reboot of the franchise.

The official weigh-ins for UFC 231 went down this morning and results can be seen over at MMA News but the ceremonial weigh-ins will go underway this evening and you can catch them here. The good news is that with all the worry over Max Holloway, he made it to the scale fine. Let's hope he stays that way so he can face Brian Ortega in what is probably the best featherweight match up the UFC has had in a while. The other fight that should have hardcore fans excited is the flyweight title fight between Valentina Shevchenko vs. Joanna Jedrzejczyk. Shevchenko holds wins over Jedrzejczyk in kickboxing so the matchup should be interesting to see and it is harder to call. The featherweight title is on the line Saturday night and a flyweight champion will be crowned in the women's flyweight division. The trailer for the upcoming 2019 Marvel film, Captain Marvel released this week and it seems to do the character justice. With the appearance of the Skrulls in the trailer, it looks like some elements of the "Secret Invasion" storyline may be mixed in with the film version, or at least introduce the Skrulls to use that story in a later film. The newest entry in the longtime beloved Rocky franchise has arrived in grand fashion. The sequel to 2015’s Creed has produced a sequel that in many respects matches the heights reached by the original. Heading into Creed 2 there were many questions and concerns to the quality of the film with Creed director Ryan Coogler pulling out of directorial duties due to obligations with Disney for a sequel to Black Panther. Franchise creator Sylvester Stallone then stepped up to the director’s chair but also decided to back out of the position. Relative newcomer Steven Caple Jr., best known for the 2016 film The Land, took over directorial duties and more than holds his own. A vast majority of the cast of Creed returns for Creed 2 including Michael B. Jordan as Adonis Creed, Tessa Thompson as Creed’s love interest Bianca and Phylicia Rashad as Mary Anne Creed.
