It has not been done in a while, but every time it was on certain films always ranked on top. One of those films was The Exorcist (1973) . Looking to follow the footsteps of Bates Motel and Hannibal TV series FOX Televisions, THE EXORCIST . The series trailer has been released and it looks like they are bringing the iconic horror film to long form television. Have a look:

It's about a viral epidemic that breaks loose in Atlanta and starts sending everyone into a fear induced frenzy of looting, and not trusting one another, and surviving by any means necessary. Sound familiar? It should, because it has all the makings of you typical zombie outbreak. The similarities between The Walking Dead and Containment might be obvious to some, but if you think they're not this is what seems similar: Both take place in Atlanta Both deal with some type of virus threatening mankind Both have focus on how humanity can help/hurt one another during an apocalyptic epidemic. Both feature a member of law enforcement in a troubled, leadership role. That's not to say the CW show is a bad rip-off. The sequel to Contracted (2013) is available on  +Netflix US & Canada  for home video and while the first film had a great ending, the sequel was hard to sit through. The film did a good job of answering some questions left from the first film and that was enough to keep you interested if you enjoyed it, otherwise it seemed a little forced. When it starts they do a good job of keeping the continuity going from part one's ending. Such as Riley, the last man to be with Samantha before the virus turned her completely. They also do a good job of showing the transmission from the mysterious man in the beginning of the first film, elaborating on his back-story and why someone would spread a disease like the one in these films. However, some of the new characters and reasons for them making the decisions they make in the film were just poorly written.
