That has been my beef with the show, I am a fan of the books and I admit I let the show changes bother me. It's the same with anything that ahs a strong fanbase, when they change the medium it comes in and try to attract new fans, the loyal ones can sometimes be bothered by the small changes. This has been brought up here before in reference to books being made into movies, and it seem when the transition happens we should take it with a grain of salt. But, something new in the same world...how can we not wanna love it?
